The Authorizations screen, explained

The Authorizations screen in CriteriaIQ RCM is where a UR team tracks every authorization, review date, and appeal in one list. Each numbered marker points to one thing it does. Tap a number to jump to its note. Patient names and data are samples.

    Your caseload at a glance

    Counts for total, approved, denied, reviews due, peer to peer, and priority cases. Click Priority to open the list of cases that need attention now.

    Find any case fast

    Search by patient, auth number, or member ID. Filter by status, payor, facility, specialist, or date range, and export to CSV.

  3. 3

    Priority flags

    A row turns red with a warning when a patient is past their covered days, so it can't get buried.

  4. 4

    Authorized days and dates

    Days authorized and the start and end dates for each auth, next to the level of care and frequency.

    Next review date

    The next concurrent review date for each patient. A missed review is marked OVERDUE in red.

    Status, P2P, and appeals

    Approved, pending, or denied, plus whether a peer to peer or appeal is in progress for that auth.

    Who owns each case

    Every auth has an assigned specialist. Unassigned cases are grouped at the bottom so nothing slips through.

    Alerts in the top bar

    Reviews due and priority counts sit in the top bar. Click Priority to jump straight to those cases.
